The client is a Hangzhou women's apparel brand with 600+ directly-operated / franchise stores and 6 online flagship stores (Tmall, JD, Vipshop, Douyin). Each year it runs 4 seasonal order fairs plus multiple reorders. They used to consolidate by hand in Excel, resulting in a high order-error rate.
Online e-commerce orders were not linked to offline inventory, causing constant back-and-forth over out-of-stocks, transfers and returns; heavy end-of-season inventory ate up most of the brand's profit. The client wanted a single digital distribution platform to run ordering, allocation/replenishment/transfer, and returns/exchanges end to end.
